The DAR-001 is a differential current relay (DAR) for monitoring the differential current between two loads, such as two motors or other equipment.
Throught built-in current transformers, the DAR measures the current in one phase of each of the loads, calculates the differential current between the current sand, depending on the pre-defined limits, activates the alarm and command relays. The DAR-001 also includes a configurable overcurrent function.
When an overcurrent situation or an excess of differential current occurs, the alarm and command relays are activated and the LED indicators present on the front panel inform the type of occurrence.
